should I decrease or increase.

Having a lot of trouble with one breast still. Lots of lumps, cysts etc. Sore. I take 5000iu vit D and selenium, lugols drops. Since January I have never used below 200mg daily with no breaks.I only have ovaries and I'm sure I'm in perimenopause. Estradiol is 460pg/mol. Scared to constantly change dose as I know this stimulates estrogen. Could staying with these lumpy breasts increase risk of breast cancer? Had anyone struggled for months on this dose and still have fibro cystic breasts? Can too much progesterone used daily for months and cause cystic breasts? Just needing reassurance of how to continue. Thanks for your work Wray.I'm feeling so much better emotionally from using 340mg but breasts are bad. Thanks

should I decrease or increase.

Hi Nicky Thanks for your kind words. Please try rubbing about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Lugol's into each breast for about a week. Please take a look at our pages on Breast Cysts and Breast Tenderness. There's no evidence fibrocystic breasts become cancerous, and none to suggest progesterone causes them. We also have a page on Peri-menopause you could look through, it's a most difficult time. Please have a Vitamin D test done. Take are Wray
