I am just wanting to get started with progesterone for irregular periods in peri meno pause along with sore breasts horrid pms and loss of sex drive to name a few!

I started w two eighths of teaspoon daily on day 14.previous to this my cycle had been 28 with two 42 day cycles before that. On day 16 I started to bleed not sure what to do - stop or continue w cream. Another website said I should stop if I bled and also said don't stop as it's a pretend bleed. Now they say I should stop and start on Day 14 of my next period. Info on this website says continue use every day. I am confused. Pls help!! I am using serenity cream from the uk site regards for listening sj

Have you done a hormone test?

Here is a site that has info on the normals levels for the female hormone panel:

Hi Sarah As you are now in Peri-menopause it's pointless trying to follow a cycle, as there isn't one to follow. This is the reason I suggest using it daily. In fact I did even when I had regular cycles, as my symptoms came back if I took the customary break. I don't believe you are using enough progesterone, I recommend 100-200mg/day, dependant on symptoms. You might like to see what another woman experienced when using the cream you are currently trying, see here. Take care Wray
