Recent lab results (blood test)
Hello! I am 51 y/o with somewhat irregular periods. I just got these lab results. I am currently using progesterone cream, but know I need to up my dosage. What recommendations would you give? I also need help interpreting my FSH and LH2 results. Wondering if there is any indication that my period will stop soon. Hopeful. The blood test was done during the follicular phase of my period.
Results:
Estradiol 10.0/pg/mL
Progesterone .8 ng/per mL
Testosterone 26.7 ng/dL
FSH 28.6 Follicular phase
LH2 10.2 Follicular phase
My Free T4, TSH, iron and CBC were all normal, but he did a sonogram on my thyroid and I have 1 small nodule and 3 other tiny cysts on the right side of my thyroid.
