Raising my progesterone usage?

Hi Wray, how long do I persevere after raising my dosage by 1/4t. before I can raise it again? 1 week ? 2 weeks? a few days? I think I've possibly been experiencing estrogen dominance and mistaking it for needing more progesterone cream instead of waiting out the estrogen dominance symptoms. I hope you know what I'm meaning.

Hi Louise I'm not sure how much progesterone is in the 1/4tsp you're using. I also don't know how much you are currently using. I recommend 100-200mg/day dependant on symptoms. I do know 400mg/day normally prevents any Oestrogen Dominance. But again this depends on how much oestrogen is present. The more oestrogen, the more severe the symptoms, the more progesterone is needed to prevent them. I'm not sure what age you are but we have a few pages you could look through, Peri-menopause, Menopause and How to use progesterone cream. I would suggest you increase the amount you're using until symptoms have gone, there's no need for any wait. No one needs to wait out the oestrogen dominance symptoms! Take care Wray
