Low progesterone levels

I went thru laproscopy, hysteroscopy, ova drilling and endo removal five months. Am trying to conceive. Got pregant 2 months back and ended up with chemical pregnancy (5 weeks).

Was having bad cramps and was taking progesterone nidagen 200mg per orally.

Tried again and am experiencing the same, not sure if have conceived as too early to say. Should I increase the doze to 400mg, any side effects even if have not conceived, am suffereing from constant cramps and severe lower back pain after ovulation.

Low progesterone levels

Hi there Oral progesterone is the least effective Delivery system. Instead of taking it, please consider opening the capsule, and adding it to a small amount of cold pressed oil, or a natural skin cream and rubbing it on your skin. 200mg is a good amount, I don't think you'll need to increase this, unless you experience problems. I also suggest you rub the progesterone on any area where you're experiencing pain. We do have a Pregnancy page which gives more info on how to use it. Take care Wray
