Lost in what to do

by Wendy

I just found out that I have a microprolactinoma. I have had very tender breasts for a very long time. I get fibroadenomas and have fibrocystic breasts. I also get cysts. The doctors tell me there is nothing I can do and I just need to take Vitamin E and Evening Primrose Oil for the pain. I know there is something wrong with me and am determined to figure it out. I did have a lot of stress two years ago and I'm thinking that contributed to my microprolactinoma but not sure.

Lost in what to do

Hi Wendy Please look at our page on Prolactin, excess oestrogen does have a bearing on it's production and the formation of prolactinomas. Breast Cysts can be caused by excess oestrogen or a lack of progesterone. But often it's a lack of iodine too. Stress most definitely contributed to the problem. Please have a Vitamin D test done. A lack of this is behind many of our disorders. Take care Wray
