Increased my progesterone to 120MG yesterday and almost INSTANT positive results

by Lisa
(San Jose CA)

I found your website after suffering for a week at only 20 mg per day. I increased to 120mg pr day per your instructions and WOW what a difference.

I don't know how long to take this for though. The therapy was 21 days on, 7 days off. Is that still the case with the increased dosage and should I taper down or just go on/off?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Lisa You don't mention having a monthly cycle, so I'm assuming you're in Menopause, as you say you have been told to use it for 21 days, off for 7? If I'm right, I don't believe the break is needed, but it's entirely up to you. If you find symptoms coming back after you stop the cream, then I advice using it daily. There's more info on the link I've given above. I've used it daily for 15 years now, and contrary to the prevailing thought, I'm not saturated with progesterone, and my receptors are still working well! I use about 170mg/day progesterone. In case you should still be in Peri-menopause, please read this page too. Unfortunately Oestrogen Dominance could kick in, it's impossible for me to tell you if it will or when it will. But this page explains why it happens and what to do about it. I've found the higher the oestrogen level in the body, the worse the symptoms are. In which case I recommend using more to speed things up. You might be interested in reading this comment here to see the ups and downs that can occur. Take care Wray
