I wore Depends at night every cycle beginning in my late 40s

Each month I felt like I had the flu just for those days. Then I was fine again. I had one hand that shook. My period stopped on a dime. August of 2008 yes, Nov. 2008 yes. Then that was it.

By March my sleep was in the toilet and my head pounding. Problem was there were other things happening so I wasn't sure what the cause was. I was a perfect sleeper all my life until my period stopped.

Hi Linda I'm not sure what advice you are seeking. But can tell you progesterone does help sleep, see here. If you should wish to try it, please see our page on Menopause. Plus our page on Oestrogen Dominance too, as this can occur when first using progesterone. Take care Wray
