Hot Flushes? Gone!

by Mary Elizabeth
(Ireland)

The best thing about progesterone therapy for me is that it entirely eliminated hot flashes and night sweats from my life. Indeed, it eliminated that over-heated daytime feeling too.

However, it did NOT eliminate vaginal dryness. Perhaps I'm not using enough. I don't know. However, I am confident that natural progesterone - even with vaginal dryness continuing - is an excellent product for my general comfort levels and also it is known to protect against post-menopausal bone deterioration. My annual Dexa scans show that my bone mass is entirely normal. As I have never taken HRT I assume that progesterone cream is assisting this, along with good diet. I am not overweight either and I exercise moderately. End of story. I have been using progesterone cream since my abrupt menopause at the age of 47 - in all, 9 years. Still motoring along and things seem fine.

Hot Flushes? Gone!

Hi Mary Elizabeth I'm so pleased it's helped you, it certainly helped me. I generally recommend 100-200mg/day, I don't know if you're using this amount. But I would suggest you try some in your vagina every night. It's an excellent anti inflammatory so will help the inflammation. I would hope the dryness too. Take care Wray
