headaches

by Evie
(Derby uk)

Hi there,

I've been getting very bad headaches for the last few months, kinda since I started my natural progesterone cream. I'm taking 100g daily.

I'm also taking 400g of magnesium tablets daily and a stray of D3, plus a B12, plus omega oil, one teaspoon in the morning and a vitamin c.

I'm also on Premarin HRT but I'v halfed my dose to one every other day.

I've also been putting some estriol cream in my nightcream, as I'v heard it can be very good for the skin.

Am I taking too many things at once?

I'm so confused.
Please help.

Hi Evie

What progesterone cream are you using? I suspect that you are not using enough for your symptoms.

Are you drinking a lot of water when taking Magnesium? If not, this could be the cause of your headaches as well.

Headaches can also be an hormone imbalance.

What does your Vitamin D3 deliver? It should be nothing less than 5000iu's per day, more if deficient.

Your body will be confused with progesterone, Premarin and an estrogen cream, they are all fighting against each other. No women needs to take extra estrogen as there are well over 100 estrogen mimics in our environment, why would any woman want to take more? All drug based HRT and Contraceptives have a potential to cause harm.

Dear Joy,

Thank you for your information.

I'm slowly coming off my HRT, and I will drink more water with my magnesium tablets, and take more D3.

I'm using 'Now natural progesterone cream' 100mg daily. I'm just using a very small amount of estriol cream on my face, as I read its good for the skin, and I'm taking my B12.

I will read the links you have sent me, I just need to get things right as I'm all over the place at the moment.

Hi Evie

No women needs to take extra estrogen, there are well over 100 estrogen mimics in our environment as it is, why would any women want to take more and why would doctors prescribe it?

A good natural progesteorne is exellent for the skin and aging, see link below.

You will have to use more of the cream that you are using as it has 1,300mg of progesterone concentration, whereas Natpro contains 2,000mg. Now cream also contains parabens, Natpro is organic and natural. More progesterone will also be needed as you are still on HRT, 100mg will not be enough. I am pleased to hear that you are weaning off HRT, but please do so slowly.
