I was always healthy until I started going into menopause, then I started to have allergys, always sneezing, seemed that I was allergic to everything.
The doctor never tested to see what it was, then came asthma and nasal polyps. I had a stuffed up nose for over 2 years before my operation to have them removed. Oh, I also forgot high blood pressure, and I'm a slim person and I eat a very good diet and I'm very active. I have an active job and have 3 dogs to walk. I had my operation less than a year ago then I started to get stuffed up again, seen the ent, and the polyps are growing back. Lots of pills later im going backwards.
I asked my doctor several times if this could be my hormones as 2 of my sisters have had the same problems at menopause. He did not answer me so I guess he did not know. Anyway I started to check for myself as I just knew that it somehow was related, plus I was not going to live like this anymore. I have had no personal life for several years, (single) no sex drive, having a relationship was not at the top of my wants.
So here I am now I have started to use progesterone cream twice a day. This is day 4 and I feel a difference. Feels like I'm starting to wake up. I don't know how else to describe it. For the first time in years I feel hope and I feel a big difference with my nose, it is starting to feel normal, not as stuffy and I can taste and smell and I can think about other things except trying to breathe and this is only day 4.
I feel I'm on the right track. Does any one else get a matallic taste in there mouth when they use the cream? It does go away... Thanks.
