Follow-Up to "Progesterone helping...still need guidance."

Greetings,
The below was originally submitted two weeks ago but never rec'd a response so I'm posting again/hoping I'll hear back.

So I am into my nearing what will be my 2nd cycle of using progesterone twice daily. (Ref. my previous post. I am peri-menopausal). Today is Day 25 of this cycle. Last week (I am not exaggerating here) I literally looked 6-7 months pregnant! The bloating for the last couple of weeks has been insane. My other symptoms seemed to have eased. The hair loss has slowed and hair texture is greatly improved. Breast tenderness has eased. The sciatic pain I usually get around the last couple of weeks hasn't showed up, and my skin looks better. Overall good yes? EXCEPT FOR THE BLOATING! I'm so swollen!!
Any guidance you can offer??

Thanks again!
Tanya

Hello Tanya!
Everything you are having is part of estrogen dominating your hormones....bloating in a big way is included. When mine gets bad I take half a teaspoon of baking soda in water and drink all of that....gluten could be the issue also as I've found that is causing me lots of grief. Remember what we used to be able to tolerate years ago all changes when peri hits us. Apple cider vinegar...Bragg's....is good for bloating also as is probiotics....cabbage juice is good too. But remember the positive changes you are seeing they are not happening over night and are gradual changes. The bloat just may be a result of the body trying to find balance once again and as you see that change takes time. I do not know how much cream you are on a day but it may be you need to go higher to eliminate the bloat. If you are taking a low dose that may be causing your trouble. I'd also try a diet change and incorporate some natural digestive aids and supplements to help eliminate the bloat. Most of us on here have waited several months and even over a year before we finally found relive to the problem we were trying to resolve and most didn't see that happen until we took a higher dose. Hang in there your body will eventually find normalcy. God Bless! RJ

Regarding diet lifestyle...
by: Tanya

RJ,
Thanks very much for the insight and suggestions. I do, and have since I was in my early 20's, eat extremely clean. No processed foods, added sugar, and little grains.

So, when I brought up the "high" concentration of progest referenced in these pages, along with its reputed benefits, my doctor looked at my like I was crazy, and absolutely refused to give me an Rx for a concentration that high. My question is why are the recommended dosages on these pages so high (in comparison to what's regarded as typical in the medical community) and how can I convince my doctor to see the ligaht. Studies and substantial testimonies are greatly appreciated.

Very best!
T

Hello Tanya!
Wray's site has all sorts of research and trials done to substantiate the high dosage of progesterone. Right now you are still trusting your doctor and you will get no help or support from them when it comes to anything out of "their norm box". You are having issues and your doctor is giving you no suggestions to resolve them...so why stay with them? You will still continue to suffer and have issues and they will just go on to the next patient. As you can tell I have no faith in them...if you read my story you'll see why. You have so many factors going on that creates the need to take more than the "doctor's norm" of 20-40 mg a day. If you have eaten clean for many years then you know how to read your body and what it's saying to you. Take the 20-40mg for a month or two and see how you feel and then take 200-400 mg a day for a month or two and see how you feel....the high dosage will not hurt you...have you ever had children...our bodies are pumping tons of progesterone during that time and majority of women come out alive, with vibrant skin and hair and go on to having more children....I guarantee you will like the latter of the two dosages. The need for high dosages is an answer I give so many I talk to....it's just because....because you don't ovulate every month, because the air we breath has toxins in it that increases our estrogen, because the soil we grow our food in is void of nutrients, because we have an abnormal high level of stress each day, because our bodies are fighting an illness internally that we are unaware of yet and it's robbing the hormones that are needed to make progesterone, because we drink water that we think is clean and come to find out it's just tap water from a city facility and they just add minerals to it...Nestles....it's just so many things that cause the need for increased progesterone. But Tanya, if you go along with your doctor's recommendations who lacks an open mind, then you may as well accept the conditions you are in right now as the "norm" for you for the next several years...I believe you said you're 45. As for the script....you do not need one from the doctor. Natpro is 2,000 mg USP progesterone per tube, which is the same type of progesterone that is in the capsule form of Prometrium, which the doctor has to prescribe. Progesterone in the natural form is available to anyone and besides lets just say you would get a script from the doctor and it's for a compound....yuck....read what the other ingredients are in that tube of cream. You are putting on progesterone to lower the estrogen but the substances used in the compound cream are full of estrogen mimicing agents. All of us that come on to this site have to make the decision...do we shut the door on the doctor and go through the open door to better health and well-being or do we stay on the revolving, merry-go-round of the doctor's door? Doctors are a miracle to humankind......only if you find the right one though! The best of luck to you and may you find the answers you are looking for to help your ailments! Remember sometimes it takes us stepping off the ledge to realize that what was underneath was not a bottomless pit as we thought, but a vast amount of land for us to walk across! God Bless! RJ

Fantastic Response! So when is Natpro available again...
by: Anonymous

RJ,
Thank you so much for your beautiful response. You said everything I already suspected.

So now the big question: I've been waiting to order Natpro for weeks now. Any idea when it will be available again?

Very best!
Tanya

Tanya, I cannot answer that. I too have clicked the bottom to be notified when stocks are in. I am not sure what has happened with the stocks...I say a prayer Wray is okay. It has happened that once I'm notified by the time I get onto this site to order it is out of stock again because so many people are waiting for it. I do know Wray has some clients that order hundreds of tubes at a time. As a business owner myself, it takes cash flow to manufacture your product and if that flow is disrupted for any reason you are unable to make your product. Sometimes the "supply and demand" turns into "demand and supply", but when you have many demanding you have to have the extra cash to supply it. It is a problem most business owners face. There are other products out there that Wray will recommend when her stocks are out, but I don't want to list them. Maybe type it into Wray's google bar on her first page and they may come up. God Bless! RJ

RJ - Thank you. One more question...
by: Tanya

I understand. I remain hopeful that I have an opportunity to purchase this highly-touted product.

If I could ask your help again...regarding the "google bar" on Wray's main page. Do you have a link you could provide? When I go to the main page I don't even see a search bar.

Thanks again, very much!
