I'm about to order your product. However, I have a little reservation. I'm 53 and have always had estrogen dominance issues. I took birth control pills for 7 years when I was in my 20's and always had fibrocystic breasts. I always had regular periods.
From Jan. to May of this year I had no periods and I figured menopause must finally be here. A couple of years ago I had a hormone panel done and it concluded that I needed a little progesterone so I had my prescription for bioidentical progesterone cream filled. I used it for a few months but found that I had a rather nasty temper and I couldn't even get away from myself so I stopped using it. I was even using a lower dosage than prescribed. Recently in my research I had found that it probably would be good to go ahead and try and deal with the estrogen dominance before menopause sets in and try and get rid of that excess estrogen, so I started using the progesterone cream again.
This time I have no problems with my temper--if anything I'm feeling emotionally better. However, my breasts are just killing me! They feel like they used to two weeks before my period ever since I can remember. For awhile I had no breast pain whatsoever, which was nice. I also got a regular period for the first time in 5 months. (I admit it was nice not having one.) Once I had my period the soreness disappeared, but only for about a week. Now it is back. So what is going on here? Do I continue trying to get rid of the excess estrogen using the progesterone cream? I also have been hanging onto weight I can't get rid of, another sign of estrogen dominance. I'm not sure what to think. My breasts look lovely, but ouch! I'm also supplementing with DIM to try and get this under control. Thanks for your input.
