D and k ratio

by Susan jo
(New Jersey)

Hello Wray or anyone else,

Can anyone tell me the ratio of vitamin d and vitamin k. If I take lets say 5000 UI of D how much K. Is there a limit of daily K. Now for and example if I take D 10,000 D should I stay at the daily RDA amount or do a certain ratio of how much D is taken.

Thank you
Susan Jo

D and K Ratio

Hi Susan jo

Your might like to visit the Dr Cannell's website, the Vitamin D Council. I am sure that you will find all your answers there. Nothing less than 5000iu's of Vitamin D3 should be taken daily, more if extremely deficient. While vitamin K is important, so too is magnesium, in fact it is considered to be one of the most important of the co-factors.
