Can't take it anymore

by Marta
(Barcelona Spain )

Hello!

So glad to find this group, please excuse my English as I'm not native, I'm from Spain.

I started Natpro two days ago. At 29 I had a severe crash. I'm 32 and I've been in bed for three years, no energy, headaches, a massive fibroid 10 cm, dizzy, anxiety.

I realize that all started many years before. The last two years I changed my diet and started taking magnesium, coq10, b12, iodine and dermal potassium as I'm very low vit d which is now in the normal range, iron, homeopathy.

Although it helps with the bleeding and pain and I improved a bit I'm still constanly exhausted, anxious, pain in my eyes, my legs hurt loads, bloated, constipated etc.

I started at 100mg I'm really scared that the oestrogens effects at the begging are much more extream or dangerous as I react to everything now. I'm planning to not follow the cycle as it is extremely irregular for a few months, is that alright if I do this? Is there any danger or will this first increase be very long and worst?

Many thanks I cannot find anyone who can help me in Barcelona area, the naturopath put me on the supplements which are great but I feel that with low cortisol and low progstrna I will never make it unless I add.

Does it work well with fibroids?

Many many thanks.
Marta

can't take it

Hi there. You sound so down, I am so sorry. Have you ever had your cortisol levels checked, how are your adrenals? I'm sorry to bombard you with even more information, but adrenal fatigue and hormone imbalance are best friends. Adrenal fatigue will leave you feeling awfully tired, achey, sensitive to light and many other nasty symptoms.

Hi Marta

Your English is perfect, no need to worry about it. I am sorry to hear that you are battling.

The correct use of progesterone does help the body absorb the smaller fibroids, the larger fibriods often require surgery sadly. The 100mg per day of Natpro is not going to help you I am afraid. You need to use between 400-500mg. Please read the Fibroid page below. It should be used every day with no breaks for 2-6 months, longer if symptoms are severe. Fibroids are caused from oxidative stress and unless the Inflammation is dealt with you will battle. Some women are lucky to get away with using 200mg Natpro but in your case I suggest using this protocol which is also excellent for heavy bleeding.

* 400-500mg Natpro Progesterone Cream per day
* 2000mg N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) per day
* 2000mg Taurine per day
* 5000iu's Vitamin D per day, more if deficient
* 1000mg Bioflavanoids per day

You are also suffering from Estrogen Dominance hence your aches, pains, bloating etc.

Vitamin D3 is very important, it must be at optimal range as per the page below. It is important that it is at a correct level. Often doctors say they are normal when in fact they are not. A deficiency reduces the benefits and is vital for fibroids. Co-Factors are needed when taking Vitamin D3, Magnesium being considered the most important. Vitamin K2, Zinc and Boron are also important. I am pleased that you are taking coq10 and B12, perhaps you need the other B vitamins too.

Please read these pages and the references as they will help you. If progesterone is not used correctly you will battle.

I wish you well.
