Can progesterone help low libido?

I am a female of 27 years with a 6 month old daughter. I have lost interest in sex and I try it, I am really dry. Could this cream be helpful?

Hi Saidah. It seems to me you could be suffering from post natal depression. Please do the questionnaire we have on our site to see if you do need progesterone, the questionnaire is accessed through the form in the right margin of this page. Progesterone can help libido, as it raises nitric oxide, this is very important for libido. It's best to use the cream in the vagina, as it's also an anti-inflammatory. Take care.
