Anti snoring Treatment involving Proseterone Therapy for men

by Jeyachandran
(Madurai, TN - INDIA)

I am a male 70 years of age. My wife is disturbed with my snoring in the night hours. I had visited http://www.stopsnoring Naturally.com. I find from reading the booklet that there are some anti-snoring treatments that involve Progesterone therapy for snoring men!

I have purchased a few tablets of Progesterone (natural, micronised) Can you guide me if I can use these tablets to get rid of Snoring at night?

I have also read leaflets on Glaxo's "BreatheRight" nasal strips. Glaxo also suggests use of Throat sprays to get rid of Snoring!
I shall be glad, if you can enligten me on the subject as it appears that Use of progesterone tablets is harmful, unless directed by Doctors. When I contacted a specialist in ENT, he is quite unaware on the usage of Progesterone therapy for Snoring!

Anti snoring Treatment involving Proseterone Therapy for men
by: Wray

Hi Jeyachandran. I've not heard of progesterone for snoring before! Progesterone in any form is not harmful to use, and generally needs no direction from a doctor. But oral progesterone is of little use, as about 80-90% is destroyed as it passes through the gut and liver, leaving little to have any effect.

Snoring can be caused by many things, one of which is water retention. If this is the case with you progesterone might help, as it's an excellent diuretic. So good in fact it's being given via IV transfusion to brain trauma victims, incidentally over 70% of these are men. If you do decide to try it, a cream would be far better as it's well absorbed. It can be applied anywhere too, so I would suggest putting some in the nose and some around it. Do let me know if it works! Take care, Wray

How To Stop Snoring

One of the most effective ways I have found was to use a stop snoring exercise program online. Most people have no idea about the true causes of snoring, which is why they have a hard time trying to get rid of it. How To Stop Snoring

Snoring happens in all stages of life as said above. I do agree to the facts that snoring arises due to the above causes. Well I was suffering from snoring too and I tried out asonor product. From my personal experience I do personally recommend asonor which helps us relieve from snoring. Asonor was the only nasal spray of the 7 products tested and it turns out that the three mouth spray delivered products scored the three lowest scores. The snore remedies in the test was mouth spray, mouthpiece, nasal strips, pillows and nasal spray. Asonor was award winning and #1 product overall as well as in the price/performance. The product is asonor. Asonor nose drops effectively remove the cause of snoring. It is a plain and simple treatment, which relives you of the inconvenience that snoring causes. Snoring happens in all stages of life as said above. I do agree to the facts that snoring arises due to the above causes. For more details refer the website www.asonor.com
