I started using progesterone cream on day 14 of my cycle last month. This cream seemed fantastic! No PMT, new hair growing through, clear skin and lost a few pounds. When starting the cream this month, it has brought all of my old symptoms back and more. Cystic acne, bloated, hair coming out loads! I don't understand why it worked brilliantly the first time around, then the complete opposite the following month. Maybe trying to predict how much to use each month is difficult because our own hormones change form one month to the next. Just second guessing really. Seems like this cream works well for some, and not for others.

You may need to increase your dosage.

Hi Alison,

It is very likely you need a higher dosage of progesterone cream for at least 3 to 4 months to start with. I suggest you up your amount to 200mg - 300mg of progesterone cream twice a day. It will help to settle your estrogen levels sooner rather than later. See if this helps you. As for myself I am still on 300mg a day. I will probably continue with the progesterone cream for the rest of my life. I don't know how I would have survived without this wonderful treatment and Wray's wonderful support. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Take care. Karenina

I am having issue too.

I am glad you got someone to answer your questions. I have had a total hysterectomy and have had HRT for years. The estrogen kills me. I have added the yam progesterone, it helps, but like the video says, it only hits some receptors. I would like to order the Natpro, but can't get answers back on how much to order. I do feel I need more progesterone. The one I am taking now, seems to keep me awake at night, so I know it is not working like I need it to. I want to try the Natpro, but I get no answers back. I don't know how much to use, and I don't know how many bottles to order. If anyone out there can help me, please let me know. I did the saliva testing. Estrogen low, progesterone low, and testosterone low. Vit. D normal. I take the HRT, and I get the estrogen dominance. Can someone help me. Thanks.

Hi Anonymous

Natpro will be back in stock soon. Nothing less than 100mg/3ml per day is needed but I feel that because you are in Menopause and on HRT you need to use more, perhaps start with 200mg/6ml and see how you get on with that. It is possible that more will be needed, it all depends on how severe symptoms are. How to use Progesterone Cream will help you, there is also a chart on this page indicating conversion amounts. The teaspoon used is a metric teaspoon which is 5ml. So depending on how much cream you use will determine how many tubes to order, but the chart explains this. For example if using 200mg/6ml per day, a tube will last you 10 days.

We do not believe that any women needs to take extra estrogen and in your case the HRT that you are using is giving you Estrogen Dominance symptoms. Perhaps you can check your test results against the Hormone Testing page.

Hope this helps.
