3 miscarriages

In 2008 I had three early miscarriages. Recently I had saliva testing done and it confirmed my suspision of low progesterone. I don't have my doctor's appointment until Thursday and I am climbing the walls with anticipation on what the doctor will tell me.

My saliva level was a 31. I am going to an ND that specializes in natural hormones and I just want to here from her "this will be no problem to fix". Seems like everyone is pregnant these days.

 How much does a saliva test cost?

Where in Toronto can this test be done and how much is it? I would like to get one done, but I was told it would cost me hundreds of dollars. Help, thanks.

I am pretty sure you can get it on line. I got it from a pharmacy that does compounding hormones. It did cost a few hundred but I have heard some INS. Cover it. I don't have a lot of money to pay out of pocket but I really think this test is worth it.

 Follow up

Went to the doc and will start oral bioidentical progesterone starting at ovulation. I think she said 230 micro grams? Along with an herb tincture and a pill that supports thyroid function. We will see how it goes. I will keep updates

 Lh surge

I was wondering when after the lh surge ( positive opk) should you start progesterone? I want to be absolutely sure it won't stop me from ovulating, while also taking it at the optimal time for pregnancy.
