13 day long periods for 6 years. So tired and need help.

6 years of near constant spotting/bleeding. I am clueless and so desperate to regulate my period without Birth Control pills. I'm NOT trying to get pregnant; I just want to bleed a few less days, or more consistent, or more productively. At this point I bleed/spot more often than not and I am tired of wearing black undies. ( smirk )

------------------------
History:
34 yr old women - never been pregnant, nor have tried
Medications - 30MG Iron, anemic & 2000IU Vit-D, I'm low

Bleeding Days 1 - 13 (Day 1 -5 very scant, light, spots. Day 6-7 ACTUAL flow. Day 7-13 sluggish spotting, bright smears

No Flow Days 14-26 ( but sometimes I have break through spotting on day 18-19)

My "flow" is always lengthy at 13 days(ish) but very sluggish like a slow dripping faucet. NOT HEAVY, just loooong. My last several monthly cycles have been 23,24,29,21,25,29 days. My cycles are not consistent and are frequently shifted early or late by a couple days. The above is an average.
--------------------

I have no idea what's going on hormonally and my doctors don't care to find out....they just offer BC.

I just bought Kokoro progesterone cream. 22mg/1/4 teaspoon or(1 pump). However, I am just clueless how many pumps and how often a day I should take this based off my history.

:sigh: I am just exhausted from after 6 years of this. Suggestions please!!!

Hi Lilly Thanks for the clarity of your query. I've no experience with Kokoro progesterone cream, but I have found at least 100 to 200mg/day is needed, along with some nutrients. This would mean you would need 1 to 2 tsp of cream. We do have a page on Menstruation which gives more info, plus a protocol at the end giving those nutrients which help prevent/stop heavy and/or continual bleeding. If your Vitamin D is low then please consider taking 10,000iu/day until your level reaches between 70-100ng/ml. A lack of it reduces the benefit of progesterone. Please also take a look at our page on How to use Progesterone Cream and Oestrogen Dominance. Take care Wray

Thank You

Wray thank you for your comments in response to my post. I will consider upping my Vit D to raise me up from my low serum of 29. Also I will consider using a higher dose of the progesterone cream. Fingers crossed I have some relief.
